Data Platform Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale a team responsible for foundational capabilities of the Data Platform
• Translate business strategy into data initiatives and foster technical maturity of the data engineering organization
• Design and implement event-driven systems and maintain backend microservices

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, or infrastructure roles
• 4+ years of experience as an application developer using strongly-typed languages such as TypeScript, Java, or Scala
• 1+ years of experience leading teams to deliver high impact business and technical outcomes
• Deep technical expertise in building large-scale data systems and designing data storage platforms
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and event-driven architectures
