Data Platform Operations Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Platform Operations Lead (Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an embedded SME and lead advisor for the data platform operations team in a production GCP environment
• Drive operational readiness through the development of runbooks, SOPs, and support processes
• Monitor system health and performance metrics, providing hands-on support for production incidents

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, database engineering, or platform operations
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL with experience in performance tuning and maintenance
• Experience supporting production data platforms in cloud environments, particularly GCP
• Hands-on experience with AlloyDB or similar PostgreSQL-based managed database services
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and must be a U.S. Citizen
