Data Privacy Analyst
Job Summary
To support an enterprise privacy program within a fintech organization, the fully remote Data Privacy Analyst will focus on data privacy, regulatory compliance, and privacy risk assessments while collaborating with various teams to identify risks and implement controls.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and data-processing reviews to identify privacy risks and implement appropriate controls
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and translate regulatory requirements into actionable business and technical guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Legal, to enhance privacy governance and compliance processes
Required qualifications
- 4 to 5+ years of experience in data privacy, privacy compliance, or information governance
- Strong knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and HIPAA
- Hands-on experience with Privacy Impact Assessments and data mapping
- Experience developing and implementing data retention policies and supporting Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
