Data Privacy Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a legal business partner to revenue teams, summarizing legal concepts and risks for business understanding
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various legal agreements while advising on contract interpretation
• Support continuous improvement of legal processes and ensure compliance with company policies in agreement management

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of in-house legal experience, preferably in a technology company
• Knowledge of data privacy and experience with Data Processing Agreements
• Admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. state with a record of success as a lawyer
• Ability to structure and negotiate a variety of contracts, including SAAS and professional services agreements
• Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems
