Data Product Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the lifecycle of data products built on the lakehouse platform, the full-time remote Data Product Engineer will define and manage the data product roadmap, collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams, and drive the adoption of a data-as-a-product culture.
Key responsibilities
- Define and manage the data product roadmap aligned to business priorities and OKRs
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure timely and quality delivery of data products
- Lead data product sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in a product management, data management, or analytics role
- 3+ years managing data products in a modern data lakehouse or data warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
