Data Product Manager
Job Summary
Working remotely across Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones, the full-time salaried Data Product Manager will serve as a liaison between underwriting and data teams, translating business needs into clear requirements while managing project backlogs and ensuring successful delivery of data products.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with underwriting teams to understand business objectives and reporting priorities
- Capture and document business requirements for data and engineering teams
- Manage backlog items and participate in agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or product ownership
- Demonstrated experience working with data warehouse, BI, or reporting teams
- Familiarity with insurance industry concepts, particularly underwriting, is strongly preferred
- Experience in an agile environment using development boards or ticketing systems
