Job Summary
Focusing on automating data loss prevention operations, the full-time Data Protection Engineer will implement and scale DLP capabilities to protect the ecosystem from security threats while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain DLP controls and tooling across multiple OS environments and decentralized datasets to prevent data security incidents
- Drive automation in DLP engineering and operations using LLMs and agentic AI to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Partner with various teams to deploy data protection technologies and support compliance with global regulations
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of security engineering experience with hands-on implementation of enterprise DLP programs
- Experience with insider threat and data protection technologies, including SIEM, UBA, and endpoint detection
- Proficiency in creating scalable, automated security processes with ML/AI tooling
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory considerations for handling sensitive data in a global enterprise
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight
