Data Protection Officer

Job Summary

Leading the organization's global privacy and data protection program, the full-time salaried Data Protection Officer will advise on compliance with data protection laws, monitor regulatory adherence, and foster a strong data protection culture among approximately 1,200 employees and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Inform and advise on obligations under global data protection laws while monitoring compliance and acting as the primary contact with regulatory authorities
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive global data protection program, promoting privacy principles and fostering a strong data protection culture across all business units
• Conduct privacy risk assessments and provide recommendations for technical and organizational safeguards to mitigate risks associated with data processing activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Deep expertise in global data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• Proven experience managing data protection programs in a professional services environment
• Strong understanding of IT systems and information security practices
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience
