Job Summary
To support the implementation of data protection policies, the part-time Data Protection Specialist will develop procedures, provide technical advice, and respond to compliance inquiries while working remotely for a duration of six months.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and update operational guidance and procedures for data protection
- Support divisions in implementing data protection policies and technical controls
- Respond to internal requests for advice on data protection matters
Required qualifications
- Advanced university degree in law, data protection, information management, or a related field
- At least five years of relevant experience in data protection or information security
- Working knowledge of English (C1) and limited knowledge of another UN language is desirable
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR or ISO 27701
- Data protection certification (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) is preferred
