Data QA Engineer

Job Summary

To support a modern cloud-based data platform, the fully remote Data QA Engineer III will lead the development and execution of data quality strategies, ensuring accuracy across ETL/ELT pipelines, transformations, and reporting outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute data quality strategies across pipelines, models, and reporting layers
• Design and maintain automated tests for ETL/ELT workflows, transformations, and analytics outputs
• Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to validate data models and reporting logic

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data QA, or a related role
• Hands-on experience testing data systems including ETL/ELT pipelines and transformations
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python
• Experience with Azure and Fabric; Databricks or Snowflake experience is acceptable
• Experience integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines and using version control systems such as Git
