Data QA Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of data quality strategies, the full-time remote Data QA Engineer III will ensure accuracy and reliability across ETL/ELT pipelines, transformations, and reporting outputs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute data quality strategies across pipelines, models, and reporting layers
• Design and maintain automated tests for ETL/ELT workflows and analytics outputs
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis across end-to-end data flows

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data QA, or a related role
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python
• Experience with Azure and Fabric; Databricks or Snowflake experience is acceptable
• Experience with QA automation tools such as Cypress or Great Expectations
• Background working in smaller environments with leadership experience
