Data Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a temporary basis, the full-time Data Quality Assurance Engineer will perform data quality validations, write SQL queries for data verification, and test ETL processes to ensure data integrity within Google Cloud Platform environments.
Key responsibilities
- Perform data quality validations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data processing
- Write medium to complex SQL queries for data validation and verification of expected results
- Test and validate ETL processes and data transformations throughout the data lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of professional experience in Big Data and Data Quality Testing
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and testing
- Hands-on experience with ETL testing and high-volume data validation
- Experience with scheduling/orchestration tools such as Airflow or AutoSys
