Data Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Ensuring the end-to-end reliability and operational health of data, the full-time Data Reliability Engineer will focus on improving data pipelines, establishing reliability standards, and implementing monitoring frameworks in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance the reliability of data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Establish data reliability standards, including SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, for data ingestion and delivery
• Leverage AI tools for anomaly detection and implement monitoring frameworks to ensure data quality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience with data platforms, data pipelines, or distributed data systems in production environments
• Hands-on experience with machine learning-based monitoring and data quality testing frameworks
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in building production-grade data pipelines
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Databricks, etc.)
