Data Science Analyst

Job Summary

To support the development of an AI-ready semantic layer for business data, the freelance Data Science Analyst will build semantic models, automate data processes using Python and SQL, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data usability in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain semantic models for products, brands, and business metrics
• Develop metadata and knowledge repositories to enhance AI systems' understanding of CPG data
• Write Python and SQL code to automate data mapping and support natural language query capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or semantic modeling
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with Azure cloud data platform
• Understanding of dimensional data modeling and interest in semantic data structures
