Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Science Associate to analyze energy data and support policy innovation in clean energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sophisticated models for electricity grid operations and nuclear energy integration
• Apply machine learning techniques to analyze energy policy discourse and public sentiment
• Design and execute quantitative research methodologies to support policy objectives

Required Qualifications

• Must reside within one hour of Mexico City via ground transportation
• Master's degree in data science, statistics, economics, power systems engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science and energy-related research
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages and experience with statistical analysis methods
• Basic understanding of energy systems and electricity markets
