Data Science Associate
Job Summary
To support innovative projects, the part-time Data Science Associate will build cloud applications and data pipelines, develop visualizations and reports, and assist in data analysis while working remotely with flexibility to engage with the Crystal City office.
Key responsibilities
- Build cloud applications and data pipelines using platform-as-a-service and open-source tools
- Develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports using open-source and business intelligence tools
- Support data collection, compilation, validation, interpretation, and analysis using standard practices
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science-related fields and enrolled in a PhD program
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Proficient with database technologies such as MySQL and MS SQL Server
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and applications for practical use cases
- Knowledge of Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) is advantageous
