Data Science Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Science Manager, Supply to lead the Data Science and Analytics - Supply team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and career development support
• Own the data science roadmap for supply, focusing on demand forecasting, positioning system optimization, fleet health, and hardware innovations
• Develop and deploy machine learning and optimization models to enhance vehicle positioning, routing, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in data science, with at least 1+ year of leadership experience
• MS or PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field
• Deep expertise in forecasting, optimization, and machine learning
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in data analysis and automation
• Experience in A/B testing, causal inference, and experimental design
