Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Science Manager to lead a team of data scientists in developing fraud detection models and financial risk products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, guiding them in model development and analysis
• Lead planning and communication efforts with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Research new fraud types and develop innovative identity verification products

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree or 7+ years with a PhD
• 2-5 years of experience managing a team of data scientists, preferably in a startup
• Strong end-to-end data science development skills, including model training and production code writing
• Proven experience solving complex business problems with data science and machine learning solutions
• Familiarity with Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS infrastructure
