Data Science Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of data scientists, the remote Data Science Manager will drive the development of AI platforms and conversational AI capabilities, focusing on scalable solutions and team performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI systems for recommendations, retrieval, ranking, and conversational experiences
• Drive execution from idea to production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features
• Build and manage a high-performing team, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles
• 3+ years of experience managing data scientists or leading projects
• Strong understanding of recommendation systems, NLP, and applied statistics
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
