Data Science Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of data scientists, the full-time remote Data Science Manager will coach and develop talent, own the Data Science roadmap, and build cross-functional relationships to drive predictive analytics and machine learning systems within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, providing feedback and growth opportunities
• Set and execute the Data Science roadmap, prioritizing cross-functional requests
• Drive marketplace forecasting and own production machine learning systems for the core product

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of data science experience with a proven track record in predictive modeling and machine learning
• 2+ years of management or leadership experience in a technical team
• Deep fluency in Python, machine learning, and SQL
• Experience taking models from prototype to production, including monitoring and iteration
• Strong background in statistics and time-series forecasting
