Data Science Manager II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Science Manager II (Research & Telematics).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 3-5 data scientists
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish priorities and roadmaps
• Create and evaluate predictive models for telematics using machine learning and statistical methods

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of data science experience, including 2+ years in a management role
• 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and numerical optimization
• Proficiency in programming with R or Python, and experience with SQL databases
• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred but not required
