Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Data Science to lead a data science team focused on R&D in machine learning and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the data science team on high-impact R&D projects, ensuring clear communication and coordination with stakeholders
• Shape product strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging in resource planning and technical decision-making
• Define measurable milestones for research initiatives and maintain responsible AI practices in production ML and LLM systems

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading and managing data science teams with strong coaching skills
• Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and scaling ML solutions in cloud environments like AWS or GCP
• Proficiency in Python and data science frameworks, with expertise in at least one area
• 6+ years of professional data science experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role
• Educational background in AI, machine learning, statistics, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
