Data Scientist

Job Summary

Building and developing analytical solutions, the full-time Data Scientist will design statistical models, automate analytical processes, and communicate project progress while working in a hybrid environment from either the Richards, TX or Alpharetta, GA office, with remote options available for non-local candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Independently design and develop statistical models and analytical solutions
• Automate analytical processes for deployment throughout the organization to address recurring analytics needs
• Document modeling assumptions, methodology, code, and analytical results clearly and consistently

Required qualifications

• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or other STEM field with 2-4 years of experience in a data science/analytics environment
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data science libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn
• Proficiency in writing and interpreting SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts
• Hands-on experience with common statistical and machine learning techniques
