Data Scientist 2

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Data Scientist 2 will develop and apply statistical, machine learning, and optimization techniques to solve business problems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and scalable analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and validate machine learning and statistical models for business use cases
• Analyze large datasets to identify actionable insights and recommend solutions
• Develop automated analytical workflows, reports, and reusable data pipelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in data science or analytics
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with Spark/PySpark preferred
• Working knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical analysis
• Exposure to cloud platforms, MLOps, or Generative AI concepts is a plus
