Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist to support the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in a full-time, remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven outcomes
Build and maintain PySpark data pipelines and optimize Spark job performance
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend software components and conduct code reviews

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
5+ years of relevant professional experience
Strong understanding of R and expertise in Python and Apache Spark
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and distributed computing
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
