Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist to support healthcare analytics and quality reporting initiatives in a remote long-term contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze extensive healthcare-related datasets to uncover operational trends and guide data-driven decision making
• Build, refine, and operationalize predictive and statistical models, including regression-based and machine learning approaches
• Develop automated data pipelines and model monitoring processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and ongoing optimization

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience performing advanced analytics, modeling, and statistical evaluation using large datasets
• Strong background in Python, PySpark, SQL, R, and Databricks, including experience with regularization modeling such as LASSO
• Proficiency in building ML pipelines and working within cloud-based environments such as AWS SageMaker
• Familiarity with MLFlow, GitHub, and Docker, along with experience in model tuning, governance, and MLOps practices
• Bachelor's degree in data science or a related quantitative field
