Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist to deliver in-depth analyses and insights for health-related decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior data scientists and cross-functional staff
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate analytical challenges into scalable data solutions
• Design, develop, and support internal web applications and interactive tools for data science products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, or related field + 2 years of experience, OR Master's degree in a related field, OR 4+ years of relevant experience in data science or analytics
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Experience building user-facing applications using frameworks such as Shiny, Dash, Flask, or Streamlit (2+ years)
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and experience with machine learning techniques
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional database design and experience integrating with backend data pipelines
