Job Summary
To advance predictive analytics capabilities, the full-time salaried Data Scientist 3 will design and deploy machine learning models, collaborate with business leaders across various functions, and mentor junior data scientists while working in a hybrid environment at the corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, Maryland.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, validate, and deploy predictive models and machine learning solutions to drive business insights
- Partner with stakeholders to address complex business challenges through advanced analytics and forecasting
- Lead analytics initiatives and mentor junior team members, enhancing the organization's data science capabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning
- Proficiency in Python and/or R, along with strong SQL skills
- Experience with predictive modeling techniques and machine learning frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments, preferably AWS and Amazon SageMaker
