Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and organize data related to USDA purchases and fishing activities
• Analyze data to assess impacts on fish prices, quota lease prices, and fishing patterns
• Assist in drafting reports that compile analyses and findings on fishery harvest incentives

Required Qualifications

• Master's or doctorate degree in economics, applied economics, data science, or a related field
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Experience with data processing, spatial trend analyses, and statistical software such as R or Python
• Experience in advanced math programming, econometrics, and geospatial analysis
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a team environment
