Job Summary

To advance machine learning models for healthcare claims auditing, the remote Data Scientist will build and optimize models, create technical frameworks, and enhance data pipelines to improve business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Dive into clinical and coding audits to understand data driving audit decisions and past outcomes
• Curate labeled data and develop ML models targeting claims for audit with increased precision
• Measure model performance and translate outcomes into operational insights and recommendations for clients

Required qualifications

• Proven experience solving business problems with data-driven optimization and ML modeling
• Proficiency in SQL and handling large-scale data, along with familiarity in at least one programming language (Python, R, etc.)
• Experience building ML models using modern approaches like Neural Nets or Tree-ensembles from scratch
• Ability to measure and optimize the direct business impact of work
• Strong understanding of healthcare data and its application in business needs
