Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support the growth strategy in Asia Pacific, the full-time remote Data Scientist will collaborate with a distributed team to develop data-driven strategies, identify user growth levers, and create impactful recommendations to enhance Spotify's offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data-driven strategies to drive user and subscriber growth
• Identify new growth levers in the SAMEA region and utilize experimentation to support growth initiatives
• Create and communicate recommendations and models to improve product offerings and optimize user messaging

Required qualifications

• At least 2+ years of professional experience in data synthesis using tools such as Python/R and SQL
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud data platforms, such as BigQuery or GCP, is a plus
• Background in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a relevant field
• Experience collaborating with partners to measure the impact of business/marketing initiatives
• Comfortable working on a globally distributed team with occasional international travel
