Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support the HRSA Organ Procurement Transplant Network - Patient Safety program, the part-time remote Data Scientist will conduct data analysis, develop innovative statistical methods, and provide technical assistance in data management and visualization.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct high-level data interpretation and analysis of medical data using R and PowerBi
• Develop and test statistical methods to enhance insights into program performance
• Prepare written summaries and presentations of data analysis findings for agency leadership

Required qualifications:

• BA/BS with 7 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in data analysis and data science
• Proficiency in data management principles using R, Power Query, and/or SQL
• Experience in building data models and visualizations using platforms like Excel and PowerBI
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in Machine Learning methods
