Job Summary
To enhance balance sheet management, the full-time Data Scientist will develop and maintain forecasting models, analyze portfolio characteristics and customer behavior, and communicate insights to stakeholders while working onsite in Boston, Massachusetts.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain models for balance sheet forecasting and analyze portfolio characteristics
- Monitor model performance and communicate analytical findings through comprehensive reporting
- Collaborate with various teams for model validations and propose improvements for loan and deposit modeling
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related STEM field
- Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines for analytics and reporting
- Proficiency in Python (including libraries like NumPy and Pandas) and SQL for data processing
- Familiarity with big data platforms such as Apache Spark and cloud-based solutions like AWS Redshift
- Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI for reporting
