Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support the expansion of the Data Science team, the full-time remote Data Scientist will work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Threat Research, focusing on training models, building AI agents, and optimizing workflows to enhance cybersecurity operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to understand and improve analyst workflows and security operations procedures
• Post-train large language models (LLMs) and AI agents using reinforcement learning techniques to automate and enhance security tasks
• Research and prototype state-of-the-art methods in agentic planning and establish benchmarking criteria for evaluating agentic systems

Required qualifications:

• Strong foundations in machine learning, probability, and statistics, with the ability to critique and implement modern machine learning research
• Experience training generative models and a solid understanding of LLM training fundamentals
• Proficiency in reinforcement learning techniques and building agentic systems
• Experience with systematic prompt optimization and designing evaluations for LLM systems
• Fluency with GPUs, PyTorch, and common LLM training stacks
