Data Scientist

Job Summary

Querying and analyzing large complex datasets, the full-time remote Data Scientist will utilize data mining, statistics, and machine learning to uncover insights and build predictive models that enhance cancer care delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with administrative leaders, clinicians, and IT specialists
• Design and implement pilots for validation and optimization of models in real-time
• Produce technical documentation, visualizations, and presentations

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree with 0+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience
• Experience with relational databases and SQL queries
• Familiarity with a health care environment and EHR data
• Knowledge of at least one scientific computing language such as Python or R
• Experience in data visualization and communicating results to a non-technical audience
