Job Summary

To support a growing entertainment platform, the full-time remote Data Scientist will take ownership of user engagement analysis, build predictive models, and create a robust data foundation for personalized content discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the metrics framework for user engagement across various platforms, ensuring accurate measurement and analysis
• Design and manage A/B testing and experimentation processes to drive data-informed decision-making within the Discovery team
• Analyze user behavior to identify patterns and insights that inform product strategy and enhance content discovery

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a data scientist or senior analytical role, preferably in streaming, entertainment, or consumer subscription domains
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data exploration, analysis, and modeling
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests with a strong understanding of statistical methods
• Familiarity with modern data tools such as dbt, data warehousing solutions, and experimentation platforms
• Strong background in causal inference and the ability to work with observational data
