Job Summary

Leading forecasting and optimization efforts, the full-time remote Data Scientist will design and deploy quantitative models that enhance product functionality and operational workflows within a virtual power plant platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain forecasting and optimization models embedded in core product workflows
• Translate operational and business requirements into quantitative frameworks and production systems
• Own the full lifecycle of quantitative systems from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science, applied statistics, or quantitative engineering
• Real-world experience building electric load forecasting models
• Strong understanding of constraint programming and multi-objective optimization
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining models in production environments
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
