Data Scientist

Job Summary

Curious and proactive, the full-time remote Data Scientist will develop and validate statistical models, apply causal inference, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions and promote a data culture within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate statistical models and machine learning algorithms for analyzing large datasets and forecasting trends
• Apply causal inference and A/B testing to ensure models yield actionable insights
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to align data science efforts with business goals and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills for complex data queries and manipulation
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and foundational data visualization techniques
• Knowledge of machine learning models, including Linear and Logistic Regression, Random Trees, Clustering, and Neural Networks
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective in a remote work environment
