Job Summary

To shape the future of people-facing and business-facing products, the full-time Data Scientist will develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation, apply scientific methods to product challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate best practices for instrumentation and experimentation to product engineering teams
• Apply statistical methods and scientific rigor to product creation, development, and improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build insights and enhance product experiences on Pinterest

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience analyzing data in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Extensive experience in quantitative approaches, including Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
• Fluency in SQL and a scripting language (Python or R) for manipulating large data sets
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
