Data Scientist

Job Summary

Designing and implementing predictive models, the full-time remote Data Scientist will extract and transform data, perform exploratory data analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product integrity and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated data and machine learning pipelines for scalable model training and evaluation
• Research and prototype new algorithms and statistical methods, including NLP techniques, to uncover insights from text data
• Document modeling approaches and data mining techniques for internal review and collaborate with teams to define data requirements

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• 1 year of experience as a data scientist or in a related occupation
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining end-to-end machine learning pipelines using Azure Databricks and Pyspark
• Experience with NLP techniques and developing models using Huggingface, NLTK, and transformers
• Knowledge of healthcare data problems and compliance with PHI/PII and HIPAA regulations
