Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a growing sports analytics team, the fully remote Data Scientist will analyze factor usage data, design tests for simulation changes, and develop machine learning models for factor optimization across various sports.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze factor usage data to derive actionable insights impacting simulation outputs
• Design and implement tests to identify unexpected changes in simulations due to factor movements
• Develop and enhance machine learning and statistical models, contributing to all stages of model development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Math, or a related technical field; Master's strongly preferred
• 4+ years of experience in developing and delivering machine learning or statistical models in sports analytics or sports betting
• Strong foundation in Probability Theory, Machine Learning, and Bayesian Statistics
• Proficiency in Python and relational SQL
• Experience with AWS environments and source control (GitHub) processes
