Job Summary
To support government leaders in making mission-critical decisions, the full-time remote Data Scientist will develop predictive models, analyze large datasets, and present insights to key stakeholders while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop statistical models and algorithms to analyze large, complex datasets, extracting meaningful patterns and trends
- Utilize machine learning techniques for predictive analytics based on historical data
- Create visual representations of data and provide detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with data management tools like Hadoop, Spark, or SQL
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills for handling large, complex datasets
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
