Data Scientist

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Data Scientist will apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI to analyze complex transportation data and develop data-driven solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, transforming, and analyzing complex data from real-world sources
• Contribute to building and maintaining customer-facing machine learning models and data pipelines
• Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for team members and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning/AI, with preference for candidates holding a Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative STEM field
• Strong knowledge of Python programming and experience with Git for version control
• Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and analysis; exposure to Snowflake, AWS, or GIS data analysis is a plus
• Solid foundation in statistics, algorithms, and core data science concepts
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and strong communication skills for presenting findings
