Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Data Scientist will analyze complex data sets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partnering with Clinical, Quality, and CDI teams to understand operational goals and business objectives
• Identifying where data science can support them
• Performing statistical and machine learning analyses of clinical, claims, and other healthcare data

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience applying data science, statistics, or advanced analytics to healthcare data in a research, clinical, or business setting
• Working knowledge of clinical workflows and terminology, including familiarity with clinical vocabularies and coding systems
• Understanding of healthcare operations
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Solid grounding in applied statistics
