Data Scientist
Job Summary
Supporting the Defense Health Agency, the full-time remote Data Scientist will design and develop data science solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions, and optimize models for performance and scalability.
Key responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support informatics and data science solutions for various technical use cases
- Collaborate with teams to integrate AI solutions and manage the lifecycle of AI/ML components
- Optimize AI models leveraging cloud resources and document findings for team and client presentations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Active Top Secret security clearance or Secret clearance with willingness to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in coding with Python, R, Scala, Java, or C++, and experience with version control systems like Git
- Experience using Apache Spark/Databricks for AI/ML workloads and handling large datasets
