Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a production AI system in healthcare, the contract Data Scientist will train, build, evaluate, and continuously improve production pipelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on production AI systems for complex healthcare workflows requiring high accuracy and auditability
• Analyze human-in-the-loop feedback data to enhance model performance and build evaluation suites for various classification tasks
• Collaborate with clinical and product experts to translate domain workflows into effective production AI systems

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, research engineering, or applied AI
• Proficiency in Python and experience building production systems with APIs and structured data
• Experience training or fine-tuning neural networks for classification or generative tasks
• Hands-on experience with LLM applications and evaluation systems for AI systems
• Ability to translate ambiguous workflows into concrete technical specifications while maintaining high standards for reliability and safety
