Job Summary

As the founding Data Scientist, this full-time remote contractor position will manage the research agenda to develop algorithms that interpret complex hormonal data, translating scientific insights into user-facing features for a consumer health product.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
• Analyze hormone, cycle, app behavior, and user outcome data to identify patterns and product opportunities
• Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction, cycle modeling, and personalized recommendations

Required qualifications

• Strong Python and data science skills; SQL preferred
• Experience with longitudinal, time-series, and health-related data
• Experience using model interpretability methods such as SHAP or LIME
• Strong model validation judgment and ability to handle missing data
• Experience translating data into user-facing product features or algorithms
