Data Scientist
Job Summary
As the founding Data Scientist in a full-time remote role, the successful candidate will own the research agenda to develop algorithms that interpret complex hormonal data, translating scientific insights into user-facing features for the Mira App.
Key responsibilities
- Build and enhance biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
- Analyze hormone and user outcome data to identify patterns and product opportunities
- Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction and personalized recommendations
Required qualifications
- Strong Python and data science skills; SQL preferred
- Experience with longitudinal, time-series, or health-related data
- Familiarity with model interpretability methods such as SHAP or LIME
- Background in consumer health, digital health, or medical devices
- Ability to translate data into actionable product features and recommendations
