Data Scientist

Job Summary

Joining the Data and AI team, the full-time remote Data Scientist will build, validate, and deploy machine learning models to enhance customer intelligence and engagement for community banks and credit unions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy machine learning models for customer segmentation and behavioral prediction in collaboration with senior data scientists
• Own data exploration, feature engineering, and model validation for assigned projects, receiving technical guidance from senior team members
• Partner with MLOps engineers to ensure successful model deployment and ongoing performance monitoring

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in applied machine learning or data science, with at least 1 year in production-grade modeling
• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and familiarity with modeling pitfalls in customer behavioral data
• Hands-on experience with a cloud-based ML platform (AWS preferred, GCP or Azure acceptable)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a quantitative field
