Data Scientist

Job Summary

Responsible for performing exploratory data analysis and predictive modeling, the full-time remote Data Scientist will analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights and strategic direction for business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process large sets of structured and unstructured data to develop predictive and machine learning models
• Identify and implement methods for continuous statistical testing to enhance model predictability
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support and refine the internal data platform for ongoing analyses

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience working with large data sets in environments such as Hadoop, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• 3 years of experience with statistical and data mining tools and methods
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience in at least one strongly typed language (e.g., C++, Java)
• Advanced understanding of data visualization libraries and statistical methodologies for modeling
